Frewitt SA, IBAG Switzerland AG, Vardeco SA, Join Swiss Center Shanghai

Frewitt SA (www.frewitt.com) is a worldwide company with more than 60 years of experience and skill. The core business comprises three divisions: designing and building milling and sieving systems; designing and building installations for transporting, dosing, mixing, and storing powders for the pharmaceutical, chemical and food processing industries; providing security marking systems designed to prevent counterfeiting and to guarantee a 100% traceability of products. Frewitt SA has rent SCS Workshop in May 2008 to start its operation in China. 

IBAG Switzerland AG (www.ibag.ch) is specialized in High Speed Cutting (HSC), machining of various materials in high speeds and at fast feed rates for tremendous production increase. For over 30 years, IBAG Switzerland AG has developed and built High Frequency Motor Spindles for milling, drilling and grinding. IBAG Switzerland AG has rent SCS instant office since August 2008.

Two Members Start Their Operation in China

Affolter Technologies SA (www.affelec.ch) develops, constructs and manufactures electronic and mechanical components for machines as well as machine-tools for micromechanical applications. Affolter Technologies SA became the tenant of SCS instant office in June 2008, and started its operation in China. 

Mr. Adolf Ogi Visits SCS

This August, SCS organized the delegation “Exclusive Powerpreneur Journey to Asia” to Shanghai and Hong Kong, which is led by former President of Switzerland Mr. Adolf Ogi and 12 Swiss entrepreneurs.

The program comprises two company visits: Jansen’s (www.jansen.com) training & exhibition center, and Lauener (www.lauener.ch); and a roundtable conference “Behind the curtain: Swiss SMEs in China”. SCS also arranged the delegation’s visit to two Hong Kong based companies: Sino Group (www.sino-land.com), and South China Morning Post Group (www.scmp.com).
