SCS has received confirmation from the tax bureau in Xinzhuang Industrial Park that Swiss Center Companies opening a Foreign Invested Commercial Enterprise (FICE, usually called “trading company”) will receive preferential treatment in Minhang in terms of VAT (Value Added Tax) payer status, allowing companies to issue normal VAT invoices with a registered capital of RMB 1 Million (The normal amount in Minhang is RMB 5 Million.). The status will be granted to Swiss Center Members only.
