Dear Members, Partners, and Friends,

We are delighted to invite you to an ambitious mission to China on March 9-15, 2025.

In the wake of the prestigious signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in June 2024, which aimed at bolstering the ties between the Canton of Neuchâtel and Changzhou, we are thrilled to announce a comprehensive program designed to foster deeper collaboration and mutual understanding. This program is meticulously crafted to encapsulate a myriad of engaging activities and insightful exchanges.

This mission encompasses three pivotal areas: institutional collaboration, educational exchanges and industrial/business partnerships. Through this endeavor, we aspire to cultivate and deepen relationships among key stakeholders across these three domains.

We seize this momentous occasion to showcase the core competencies of Neuchâtel, represented by participating companies' representatives, to potentially interested parties and partners in China. Equally important, we seek to gather invaluable business and country-specific insights from China, which will serve as a fertile ground for nurturing our future endeavors in a forward-thinking manner.

There are some highlights in the program:

  1. Institutional Visit to Related Authorities: We will embark on an institutional visit to the pertinent authorities, providing a platform for in-depth discussions and understanding of the regulatory frameworks and policies that govern our respective regions.
  2. Business Match-Making Event: A tailored B2B match-making event will bring together companies from our focus areas, facilitating direct connections and potential partnerships that could lead to groundbreaking collaborations.
  3. Visit of Cutting-Edge High-Tech Companies: An exclusive tour of leading high-tech companies in our focus sectors will offer a glimpse into the latest innovations and technological advancements shaping the future of our industries.
  4. Visit of Universities and Research Centers: Aligning with the participating Neuchâtel actors, we will visit esteemed universities and research centers, fostering academic exchanges and exploring opportunities for collaborative research projects.
  5. Business Networking Reception: A business networking reception will provide an informal yet vibrant setting for participants to mingle, share ideas, and establish lasting professional connections.

Through these highlights, we aim to not only showcase the core competencies and innovative spirit of Neuchâtel but also to gather invaluable insights and forge lasting relationships that will pave the way for future collaborations and mutual growth.

This trip is co-organized by Canton of Neuchâtel and Swiss Centers.
