We
are delighted to invite you to attend the Geneva branch event of
the 2026 Global Digital Economy Conference, which will be held
on the afternoon of March 31, 2026, as well as the “Beijing
Night” buffet networking session. Let’s join hands and embark on
this international feast of the digital economy.
Since
its inception in 2021, the Global Digital Economy Conference has
been successfully held for five editions. It has always kept pace
with the development of the digital economy, establishing an
international, high-end, and professional platform for high-level
exchanges within a global digital economy framework that is
inclusive, innovative, cooperative, and prosperous for all.
In
2026, the conference makes its debut in Geneva, Switzerland, a core
hub in Europe, Leveraging its unique multilateral platform
advantage as the residence of the United Nations and over 50
international organizations, as well as Switzerland’s continuously
leading global innovation ecosystem, it established an important
overseas venue. Themed “Digital Intelligence Without Boundaries:
Friendship and Win-Win”, this event gathered elites from the
global digital economy sector, including politicians, business
leaders, and academics. It aimed to further expand the global
digital economy partnership network, deepen connectivity between
Europe, Asia, and the work in the field of digital economy, and
contribute Chinese wisdom and Beijing solutions to the global
digital transformation.
Highlights
of the event:

Hight-level multilateral dialogue: Senior officials from
international organizations, leaders of the Global Digital Economy
City Alliance, and heads of the Economic and Employment Departments
of the Beijing Municipal Government and the Canton of Geneva Government
jointly delivered speeches and discussed the grand plans for the
development of the global digital economy.

Major achievements announced: The Geneva Office of the Global
Digital Economy City Alliance was unveiled, new members were
awarded certificates, and the annual work plan was released; the
International Telecommunication Union and other institutions jointly
announced important achievements such as AIGC industry empowerment,
marking a new milestone in digital economy cooperation.

In-depth industry sharing: Focusing on core topics such as
Beijing’s achievements in building a global benchmark city for the
digital economy, new opportunities for China-Europe digital
collaboration, and corporate globalization cooperation practices,
representatives from well-known European institutions and leading
enterprise in Beijing will share cutting-edge insights.

Precision matchmaking and networking: The “Beijing Night” business
networking event provides a high-end networking scenario,
facilitating deep and pragmatic cooperation between Chinese and
foreign enterprises, and exploring win-win paths for technology export,
market expansion, and capital linkage.

Global resource linkage: During the event, we will synchronously
collaborate with authoritative institutions such as the United
Nations Institute for Training and Research, the International
Telecommunication Union, and the Swiss Academy of Engineering, to
build a long-term cooperation bridge across regions and fields.

event is hosted by Global Digital Economy Conference Organizing
Committee and Global Digital Economy City Alliance and organized by
Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology,
Beijing Municipal People’s Government Foreign Affairs Office and supported
