It was an honor to host such a dynamic group eager to explore the intersection of Swiss excellence within China.
🗨 The day commenced with a panel discussion featuring esteemed executives from leading Swiss companies. Roger Germann of Geistlich China, David Fang of Nestlé Zone Greater China, Crystal H. of IQAir China, and our very own Zhen Xiao, CEO of Swiss Centers, shared invaluable insights into navigating the intricacies of operating a Swiss company in the dynamic Chinese market. From localization strategies to managing fierce competition, their expertise illuminated the path for future business leaders.

Ambassador Juerg Burri further enriched the day with an enlightening briefing on Swiss foreign policy direction, the unique bilateral relationship between China and Switzerland, and the way the Swiss foreign service can support businesses here. His candid responses to student queries added depth to our understanding of dynamics in a globalized world.
🔩 In the afternoon, the delegation embarked on an insightful visit to the ABB Beijing Switchgear Ltd. factory, graciously hosted by ABB executives Winnie Dong Huijuan, Jian Wu, and Lei-Alex Wang. The tour and discussions provided a firsthand glimpse into ABB’s strategic approach to operating in China’s competitive market.
