This week, Swiss Centers had the pleasure of supporting a governmental delegation from Qidong County (Nantong City, Jiangsu Province) during their business visit to Switzerland. The delegation is actively engaging with industry leaders and professionals in Geneva and Zürich, aiming to attract investment and cooperation in Qidong’s thriving logistic and industrial hub. Strategically located next to Shanghai, the county is prioritizing sectors like biopharma, port-related industries and electronic information to drive innovation and growth.

In collaboration with the delegation, Swiss Centers facilitated key activities in Geneva:
✅ 2025 Qidong (Switzerland) Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchange Meeting: inviting targeted guests and speakers, such as Mingcheng Xiao, Chief Representative of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
✅ OM Pharma visit: a leader in the prevention of respiratory and urinary tract infections based in Meyrin, with the largest bacterial lysate manufacturing facility in the world.

This visit underscores Qidong’s commitment to fostering global partnerships, while Swiss Centers remains dedicated to bridging Swiss innovation with China’s dynamic markets.
