While we were preparing this summer newsletter, an encouraging announcement came as Switzerland and China concluded negotiations on optimizing our bilateral FTA. Once signed and implemented, the upgraded FTA will strengthen the competitive position of Swiss exporters and further ease their access to the Chinese market.
