From June 15-21, 2025, @Swiss Centers, together with @Sinoptic, @Innovaud, and the @Service de la Promotion de l’Economie et de l’Innovation du Canton de Vaud (SPEI), are co-organizing the Vaud Economic Mission to China 2025.

The Mission, including business leaders and government officials, is led by State Councillor for Economy @Isabelle Moret.

For 7 days, they will follow an intense schedule in Shanghai, Changzhou, Nanjing, Dongguan, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong. Follow us this week for exciting insights into their visits and meetings with companies, partners, and local governments.

The Mission is supported by the @Centre Patronal and the @Chambre Vaudoise de Commerce et de l’Industrie (CVCI).

Highlights of our first day:

✔Shanghai Urban Planning Museum: an excellent way to grasp an understanding of one of the most advanced cities in the world, the latest urban developments, and the top-down approach.

✔Elite Beds: GM Sally Li took us to her showroom and gave insights into the strategy of Swiss high-end consumer goods in China.

✔Briefing at Fesco Adecco: we were fortunate to visit Fesco Adecco Headquarters, a leader in HR Services, to hear about their business. The delegation also received a welcoming speech by @Isabelle Moret and an introduction on China by @Gérald BÉROUD

✔Dinner by the Bund: the delegation gathered around their first dinner, enjoying some Shanghainese specialties.

It was a perfect start to the trip, balancing business readiness with cultural appreciation.
